A solid good performing CPU with plenty of punch for gaming and multitasking

Worked like a charm and gave me no trouble when I installed in on my new ASUS ROG motherboard. I built a new system as I finally moved to Windows 11 and I was a bit concerned that all new hardware would cause me some problems in set-up but that wasn't the case. The heat levels are well controlled by both software and the cooling fans that I installed. I use stand alone Nvidea graphics card and the system delivers excellent grahics for the level of online gaming I do. All together I'm pleased with speed and power and 6 cores is more than enough for my purposes. It handles the 6 HDD & 2 CD/DVD recorder/players I still use once in awhile.

Unlike 5600x this cpu only supports pcie 3.0 and limiting your gpu to those speeds and can cause crashes and other issues as well it is ok if you are looking for a dated cpu with igpu capabilities but there are newer options at similar price points that will do the job better
