Top positive review
So Happy I bought a second one

I can't use controllers without at least one or two of the paddles on the underside anymore. I had the Elite 2, but Space Marine 2 was just too much for the bumpers. At first, I had planned on only using this one until I got new bumper switches and the motivation to solder them in here. The Elite 2 does have a nice, solid, feel to it, and I love how you can customize it. But there is something to be said for the media controls on this as well. And after several months it has been holding up well. I ended up making the Elite 2 the backup, and now I'm ordering a second one (from woot) to use if anything happens to the other one.

Would be great if it stayed connected -- Just kidding, it's trash. Don't buy it.

I've had this controller for a few weeks and it's great except when it randomly disconnects in the middle of a game. I've had it disconnect on me at least 10 times now. Almost seems like the USB port on the controller is loose. I've tried 3 different USB cables (including the one that came with it), I've tried different USB ports on my PC, I updated the controller's firmware... it still disconnects, seemingly at random. It'll be fine for hours and then ill be in the middle of a game and it turns off. Makes for a pretty frustrating experience. UPDATE: After about a year and a half of use, I'm still having issues with the controller disconnecting...but I've gotten used to make sure I'm holding the controller in such a way that the plug doesn't move much. Pretty obvious that the connection between the controller port and cable is the issue...the plug doesn't fit snug into the port. The right analog stick isn't returning back to the center position and it has a slight wobble, which is leading to pretty bad stick drift. This makes aiming a challenge in FPS games. Additionally, one of the back buttons got stuck one day. I was able to get it unstuck by removing the screws from the case and moved the button back into place, but I continued to have issues with it...just took the controller apart completely and found that both back buttons are one piece of molded plastic that is VERY thin in the middle...just using the buttons is going to cause stress on that and cause it to eventually snap like it did with my controller. Ultimately, this is just a piece of garbage controller with some neat features to make it stand out from the rest of the cheaply manufactured trash on the market. I expected more from Turtle Beach, but I should have known better. I would have much rather spent more money on a quality controller or spent the same money on 3 of the cheap, off-brand controllers on the market. At least when those stop working you're only out 20 bucks, not 45-60.
