I love this router/modem combo. I typically don’t like equipment that is shared but this one that has met my expectations. The signal quality is great and reaches all the way through my place. Additionally, as for compatibility, both the 2.4 and 5 GHz channels work well with all of my equipment and I’ve had no issues connecting anything. And finally, the speed is off the charts… Whenever I go to check my connection speed, then I have no issues and actually maxed out the charts.

Avoid at all costs, they don't last even a year!

The unit arrived and set up was relatively straightforward however there were several configuration changes that only Netgear support could figure out so after all that, it worked well for 9 months. Then it died. I mean lights are on but won't connect to the Internet, Wi-Fi is not working. I tried rebooting, a full factory reset but nothing worked. Contacted my cable company to see if they could ping it based on mac address but as suspected, it didn't reply. Moving on, I checked on my warranty status and discovered it only had 6 months coverage. After that either you pay for their extended warranty or you're out of luck. I'm one of those.Don't throw away $300+ on this item. It doesn't last and a company that only offers 6 months of warranty out of the box knows it!
