Comfortable, Awesome Sound, Mic works great!
By Robert D. on Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2023
Purchased Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headset: so I can communicate clearly with my friends while playing COD MW2.0. I’ve tried multiple different headsets all around the price range of $40 to $70. Starting with…2019 Polk Striker Zx It had ok Sound but the mic was terrible. And over time headset became painful to wear. 2021 Next was, Runmus Gaming headset Mic was fine and headset was a bit heavy. But the 3.5 mm Jack got bent over time and stopped working. 2022 Next I tried, Turtle Beach Recon 70 Nice sound but mic wouldn’t work clearly and headset isn’t comfortable for long time use.Now I have found a headset that has good clear sound, people can hear me. Headset itself is lighter than most I’ve tried. Very easy to wear over long periods of time.Pro’s Sound, Headset Comfortable and Soft on the Ear’s, Large Clear Microphone, Soft Cord, Volume Control easy access and my favorite a 3.5mm Jack that is in a L shape connection. This keeps the Jack from bending and breaking. As seen in picture.Con’s Mute Button small and in odd place. Would have liked it higher up on top of the earphone.

Decent Performance but Lacks the Wow Factor - Opted for Steelseries Instead
By Irakli T. on Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2024
I purchased the Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headset with high hopes, given Razer's reputation in the gaming community. Unfortunately, both I and my child were left wanting more from this product, leading us to give it a 3-star rating overall.Sound Quality: The sound quality of the BlackShark V2 is decent, with clear audio and a good balance of bass. However, it doesn't quite deliver the immersive experience I was expecting from a gaming headset in this price range. When it comes to competitive gaming, where every detail matters, it just didn't meet our expectations.Comfort: The headset is relatively comfortable to wear for short periods, but we found it to be a bit tight during longer gaming sessions. My child also mentioned that it started to feel uncomfortable after a while, which was disappointing considering gaming often involves extended periods of use.Microphone Quality: The microphone performance is one of the better features of this headset, offering clear voice communication. However, this alone wasn't enough to compensate for the other areas where it fell short.Durability and Build: While the build quality seems solid, the headset doesn't feel as durable as others we've tried in the past. We were cautious with it, worrying about potential wear and tear from regular use.Overall Experience: After trying to get the most out of the Razer BlackShark V2, we ultimately decided it wasn't the right fit for us. We switched to a Steelseries headset and couldn't be happier. The difference in overall satisfaction was night and day, with the Steelseries delivering on the comfort, sound quality, and durability we were looking for.In conclusion, while the Razer BlackShark V2 might be suitable for casual gaming, it didn't live up to our expectations for serious gaming sessions. It's a decent headset, but for us, moving to Steelseries was the right decision, offering a much more enjoyable gaming experience.
