I bought one for my brother 5 years ago and it keeps working. All keycaps responses as the first day and sound like the first day with 0 mantainment. So I expect the same for this one I bought. Also, it comes with 2 cables, for any weird reason the 2nd one (with a small C usb cable) attached to the keyboard has an usb adapter inside the box attached to the plastic' cover. So once you set it, you can plug in thne keyboard and make it work. For any weird reason the other usb cable is intended to give power and let the usb input works on the keyboard. Oh, and I'm using this one to play Deadlock and it goes very well. Ah and the pad, for me, at least, makes my hand feel like weird so I dont attach it tgo the keyboard but use it fopr my right hand for save it from touch my wrist with the mousepad (so it wont get friction again).

Moving from the original Huntsman Elite to this poorly designed Huntsman V2 has not been fun. The wrist-rest slides around as it is only attached by a weak magnet. The old Huntsman Elite had a contact port and some very strong magnets. The older Huntsman Elite also had RGB around the wrist pad that gave a nice glow for night gaming, this keyboard does not have that. This keyboard did some strange things on the face of the keys. For example the 7 and & are next to each other making for a shotty looking key as well as making the entire keyboard feel cluttered as all keys put their secondary function next to it, like the 7 key described above. The Cable coming into the keyboard is jammed on the top end of the left side of they keyboard, where as on the older Huntsman Elite it was in the middle top, making for arranging your desktop a lot easier whether right or left handed! The Alt keys were larger on the older keyboard making it easier to hit when gaming, especially since the Context Menu key is much larger and a lot easier to hit by accident messing up things. The fn key is larger and the space is .25" longer just to make you have to get use to yet a new design. PBT keycaps are cheap and do not let light shine through much at all! -- Razer Synapse software is mandatory and is filled with bloat ware! -- Razer you build these keyboards. So, stop changing the size and locations of things! We get use to them and when you move them it makes it difficult to game. They brag about this keyboard being quiet. The only thing making it quiet is some cheap foam they tucked around the keys, they really did nothing special. I imagine this foam will break down and the keyboard will be noisy again soon. 8000Hz Polling Rate. Really, how many people press keys so fast that the short distance the signal travels in the keyboard cord actually misses a key press? Latency on a keyboard really is not a thing per a number of reviews online that I read and watched. The only good thing I see on this keyboard is that they actually replaced the old Audio Scroll Wheel with a new larger one. The old scroll wheels always wore out after 7-8 months. Now take into consideration this scroll wheel is not used that often, so to have it wear out in such a short time period equates to poorly build components. Let us hope they used better quality this time with the new larger Audio Scroll Wheel. Razer Huntsman V2, is it worth it? In this viewers opinion, not really. The High price at $199.99 or $179.99 on sale, no thank you! The older Huntsman Elite was often on sale for just $99.99 with free shipping! Go get another keyboard and save yourself $100.00 There are plenty of high quality keyboards for gaming out there that cost a lot less and many are in the $79 to $100 range. I would list them here but I am not sure if that breaks Amazon's rules for reviewing products.
