Better than G502 (which is also great)

Always assumed Razer was mostly hype but after trying this mouse, I dunno if I will be buying Logitech again. Their quality has kinda gone down over the years. My last G502 only lasted a couple months before it started registering extra clicks. Button placement is way better on this mouse. And it just feels more comfortable and lighter. Plastic is a little bit cheaper than Logitech though. Software is a bloated mess, just like Logitech. RGB lighting looks way better. Um, I dunno I can't think of anything else. They're both great mice, but if you're looking to jump ship and you're used to the G502, this is your mouse.

Okay mouse but horrible mandatory software

As far as functionality and features go, this mouse is fine. It's about the same level of build quality as the CyberPower one I replaced it with that served me for five years. However, the onboard memory can't save the RGB (Chroma) settings, which means you have to either use the default rainbow spectrum colors or run the bloated Razer Synapse software constantly to set your own color, even static. That is a huge L and I would return if it wasn't for the fact that I have very little time and OpenRGB exists (a much lighter alternative to Razer's software). Very disappointed in Razer. Didn't have this problem with any of the CyberPower accessories. Made in Thailand
