Acer Vero ECO Gray 15.6 inch Sleeve

It fits my Acer 15.6" laptop. (I would be extremely worried if it didn't.) It's not terribly squishy, in a way that makes me think it might not be the best in the world at absorbing shocks. But anything is better than nothing, of course. The side with the pocket is far more padded than the side without due to the extra material, so there will be an element of luck involved with regards to how much protection you will get in a fall. My very scientific test for this sort of thing is to put my hand inside and slap it with a screwdriver, and in this test the difference is obvious. It's possible the material choice was dictated by their commitment to using post-consumer recycled material. I would tentatively wonder whether it's more ecologically friendly to make a bulkier case (even of non-recycled material) if it would be more likely to save a laptop. I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate two small nylon handles. This lack may also have been a limitation of the PCR materials available to them. On the topic of sustainability, they probably could have shipped it without the fancy cardboard box (of a size that I think very few people would find useful to reuse). It seems sturdy and well-constructed: material, stitching, zipper. I've generally been happy with the Acer products I've come across or owned (the Acer laptop going inside this got 5 stars). This case is more of a "it's fine I guess, and way better than nothing"
