⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing – I Use It Every Day!
By Jessica Crawford on Reviewed in the United States on February 15, 2025
I cannot say enough great things about this Amazon Kindle! It’s lightweight, compact, and incredibly comfortable to hold for long reading sessions. The adjustable front light makes it perfect for reading in any lighting condition, whether I’m outside in the sun or reading in bed at night. The battery life is unbelievable—I go weeks without needing to charge it, even though I use it every single day. With 16GB of storage, I can carry my entire library with me wherever I go. No more lugging around heavy books! The screen is crisp and easy on the eyes, making it feel just like reading a real page. If you love reading, this Kindle is an absolute game-changer. It’s perfect for travel, commuting, or just relaxing at home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing e-reader! 📖✨

Suitable But Slow
By Caitlyn on Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2024
This kindle is lightweight, easily held in one hand, and is comfortable for reading. It has several nice settings such as changeable brightness, adjustable font size, and even a few different font style options. The battery lasts a good amount of time. I have only charged it once - when I first got it - and the battery is only down to 53% now. I have had this kindle almost a month now and have read it on average, an hour every day. The kindle is suitable for my basic purposes though no kindle can ever reach the quality and feel of a physical copy of a book. It functions well for what it was designed to do. That being said, I do have a few critiques. There is a tutorial in the help settings that gives a decent tutorial of the home screen. But there is not a tutorial for the books. This means that once you open a book, it is up to you to discover how to open settings, change layout and displayed information (such as page #, percent of way through book, etc), access your notes and highlights, turn the page, and even exit/close the book. Also, when taking notes, a keypad will pop up for you to type. The functionality of this keypad, however, is very rudimentary and hence is slow (takes a second to register the letter just typed), and the keys have overly small "hit boxes". Nine out of ten times, the kindle "thinks" I clicked on the blank spot to the left of "a" instead of "a" (thus typing nothing) and having to backspace three or four letters just to carefully retype "a". Provided with the kindle is a whole slew of dictionaries as well as a collection of all your notes and highlights, aka "clippings" from all your books. These are both helpful and nice to have. But the layout/design of the clippings collection makes it difficult to follow. Each entry tells you the book it is in, date and time you marked it, along with your note or highlight - all scrunched together with the previous and next entries in a way that is reminiscent of computer code. I also wish I could change the clock to military time. Overall, I enjoy my kindle and am happy with its basic functionality and access to kindle books. Many of the books I'm interested in are considerably cheaper on kindle than physical copy, so buying a kindle has saved me money while giving me access to more books.
