Acer Aspire 5 15.6" i5-1240P Laptop

Great quality; great value for money. Super happy with my purchase.

softwware version is not user friendly. still cant use it to function after a month.

I wanted a windows based laptop with an onboard pen/stylus. I needed to update from my previous Acer Spin model, and this was the only one I could find with a handy onboard pen. These units have a really bright screen that can be easily viewed at an angle by collaborators. It doesn’t have the finger print reader and it doesn’t open with both surfaces lying flat on the table like my old Acer. But it’s a nice affordable unit that works faster than the old one. You won’t be disappointed.

I was delighted with this laptop until the screen refused to turn on and just stayed black. I hooked it up to an external monitor and only got a black screen as well. As it is completely unusable it is going back to Acer for repair but I am out of pocket for the big bucks I had to shell out to get my private info off before sending it back. Not what I expect when buying a brand new laptop.

We were and still are very happy with this purchase. It seemed as though we were shipped a return purchase since a previous shipping label was still on the box covered, but everything was new in the box. Works great!
