TOTU 7-in-1 USB C Hub, Docking Station

First of all, the things this is good at: =================== - Allows connection to a single HDMI monitor/TV. I tested it using a monitor with 1920x1080 resolution at 60Hz and 75Hz and it worked great. No tearing or flickering. - Connected 2 USB A devices (Headset and Mouse). It supports USB 2.0 devices - Connected 1 USB C device using the USB 3 - Connected my power adaptor to power the laptop through this single connection. - Allows regular and micro SD cards to be read and written quickly It worked great while using this all day long (10 hour work day) without getting overly warm or having any problems. I tested this using a Dell Precision 5560 laptop as well as a MacBook Pro 16" What it is not ========== This docking station supports USB 3, not Lightning. (Both use the USB C connector but have different capabilities and speeds) Lightning would allow access to faster data speeds when using an external disk drive, so it would not be recommended if you are using an external disk for things such as video editing where you are moving huge amounts of data around. It will power - but not charge - many PC laptops. It allows 95 W of power to come from your power adapter to power your laptop. Many laptops can operate in two different modes..... - Enough power to run the laptop - Enough power to run the laptop & charge the battery at the same time. My Dell laptop requires 95W to run, but 120W if you want to run and charge the battery at the same time. (Windows 10 showed the alert in my notifications that it is a "Slow Charge" adapter which tells you that it can run but not charge - or charge very slowly) Bottom Line ========= This is a great device with enough ports to give you a nice dock for your laptop - especially focused on 1 monitor, keyboards, and mice. The quality and performance are great.
