Perixx PERIBOARD-335RD Wired Keyboard

You can tell Perixx spent a lot of time and effort designing this keyboard to have proper ergonomics it many aspects of it's design. However, all this effort was essentially thrown in the trash when they decided to add a wrist rest that completely ruins any benefit you may get from this board. To start, the rest is nothing more than hard plastic with absolutely no padding. It feels horrible to lay your wrists on. Secondly, its wildly too short in the areas you need support the most. I have normal sized hands and they rest on the edge of the board because the rest is too shallow. The rest is properly thick enough on the outer edges but then Perixx randomly cut it short towards the center, which is where to you rest your palms! Next, the shape of the curve in the rest is properly shaped in the center to contour your palms, but then it quickly turns into a table flat section which kind of ruins any advantage you'd get from a contour. Last, the rest sits below the keys so your fingers and wrists have to angle upward to lay on the keys, creating a strain in my wrists. The wrist pad should lay above or at least level with the top of the keys, much like the Microsoft Sculpt. One last complaint is that the entire board just sits way too high. It's ok if you have an adjustable desk and have it sit lower, but many people do not have that luxury. Fix this wrist rest and you'll have a real contender for a great ergo board.
