Logitech MX Anywhere 3S Compact Wireless Mouse

11/09/23: I've decided to return all four 3Smice. The Logi Options+ update that was pushed ruined the mousing experience. My old 2S mice out performs these mice now and the only difference is the click and the charging, micro vs. usb. I can live with the click to have the smooth scrolling back. Before that update this was a golden mouse for me. Now I'm simply disgusted. My two bolt usb receivers arrive Saturday so I'll give support a chance to show me how good the mouse can be again. That said, he was even confused why the Logi Options+ software wasn't working right when the Logi Options regular had worked perfectly. Anyway, I'm done here. Good luck all. 11/08/23: After my support conversation yesterday, today I tested all of the mice. Out of the four one worked to my satisfaction, one had a scroll wheel clutch issue, and two, based on the serial numbers were out of warranty. The two that were out of warranty worked but I'm not taking any chances. Also, the update to the Logi Options software, Logi Options+ has lost the ability to change settings when using windoze 10 22H2. The original worked better but it had to be updated so now settings can't be changed. 🙄 Still love the mouse, just hope I can find one more good one eventually. It works well on every surface I use from cloth and blankets, to leather and other surfaces I need at times. A great upgrade from the 2S even though the form factor didn't change a lot. Note: You can have more than one 3S and more than one 2S (and I have both) but can only have one of each paired at any given time. That applies to the Bolt receiver too. Tedium at its finest, but I'll deal. 11/07/23: Spent an exhausting several hours with robot support and then phone robot support until I finally got a live agent who was nothing short of amazing. Issue not yet resolved but we are going a different direction, via the LOGI BOLT USB RECEIVER so I am hopeful. 11/06/23: After charging both I found that one is completely defective, and the other one is out of warranty and already showing issues. That said, when it's working right it's an amazing mouse. It's really glitchy right now. Hopefully I can get two good ones. 11/04/23: Out of the box I see improvements that I love. To correct the impression that some reviewers have, this mouse is absolutely USB-C chargeable. I plugged in the mouse using the enclosed USB-C cord and I'm just waiting for the charge to finish. The shape is improved a bit and the form factor is very similar to the 2S but feels a bit larger and more ergonomic in my hand. The 2S was always a bit small and too angular (I have two because I game and do a lot of general mousing. A dying battery is a pain. Swapping out micro USB cables is even more tedious). First thing I noticed besides the shape and USB-C was the angle. Finally gone. It's a straight in connection. The angle on the 2S drove me crazy because I could never hit it right in a dark room. Looking forward to giving the 3S a run for my money.
