Wi-Fi is 2.5GH not 2.4GH

This device Wi-Fi is 2.5GH not 2.4GH. Many of my devices require 2.4GH and are not compatible with 2.5GH. Orbit sprinkler controller, Bond light &fan controller etc require 2.4GH. Replacing with MC7700. Hopefully that will work with my devices.

This modem would intermittently turn off. And eventually it got so bad it became unusable. I spent 6hours over 3 days, on the phone with product support, and then, once they could not find anything wrong, I had my ISP send technical support twice, to check different aspects of my home. None of it worked. Eventually, Arris told me they would be willing to take a look at the physical device, if I sent it in, and paid my own shipping, and paid for a temporary device while they looked at this one. I cannot un-recommend this device hard enough. It's a pure time sink. You will pay in time and tears, whatever you're trying to save in rental fees.
