Its gorgeous, and glorious! The picture quality is unreal. I love this thing! And its everything that one would expect with a Samsung digital device. Or at least I have always had fantastic luck with Samsung. I will definitely be buying another one to pair up with this one. Its unbelievable for gaming. The value in its build quality is completely there and on point, they did their homework. And it works flawlessly with my gaming rig. I do mean the 5 stars that I gave this monitor, but there are just a few con's for users who might be interested in buying this. 4.9 stars would be more a more realistic score for me because of the one actual con. (#2) 1) Its weight. It is holy heck heavy. I will tell you now and you will believe me later, this product is not for little girly-man weaklings with flabby spaghetti noodles for arms. If that's you, then you are gonna want to get some help from your nerd friends when getting this item out of the box, especially with its base. I'm fairly fit, and I work out often. This was heavy. 2) Its sold as a television and comes with television instructions. I bought this as a computer monitor, and that side of their support was pretty vague. It took a short while of messing around with the settings, but I got it figured out. 3) If you are buying this as your computer monitor, keep in mind about how hard it is to go from having 2 screens, back to 1. How painful it can be when going from a 32" to those old 21's. This is no different. I look at this 55" and then over at my two dinky little 34" AOC curved... Its going to be really hard to go back to something "standard".

DO NOT BUY!!!

UPDATE----Confirming to anyone reading this that Samsung has released a faulty product and has terrible customer service. Obviously I did a deep dive online looking for others with similar issues and wow did I find a lot. Some different, some similar, and some exactly the same. In my case I very much believed my issue was not with the screen itself but with the stupid One Conect box they have released with the Ark. If you're not familiar it's an extra piece of crap they provide you with to plug all your consoles in to rather than the back of your TV. What does this accomplish other than taking of space?? Nothing. It's just one more (VERY expensive) part to potentially break and if you're outside of your warranty your screen will now cost you several hundred to fix. You have no option to plug directly into the screen with USB, optical, DP, HDMI etc. Just a single port that a certs their proprietary cable so when/if your box breaks you are S.O.L. Spent hours banging my head against their customer service that refuses to listen to the problem and insists you continue to unplug and plug back in etc. Thankfully Amazon themselves came through and shipped me a replacement which also allowed me to just swap the box and confirm which I did. FIRST POST----Have had my Ark Odyssey 55" Gen2 for just under 2 weeks and my screen informs me that it needs to do an update. This is fine and expected so I proceed but upon completion my screen will no longer detect ANY hardware connected to it. Samsung customer support wasted hours of my time asking me to do the menial tasks that I already informed them I have completed but I obliged and go through all the motions again only to be told they can't help me. This is clearly an issue on their end but I am now left with a $3,000 monitor that does nothing for me. Please do not buy this product or any Samsung products
