Great for retro gaming storage
By M. Fernandez on Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2025
I ordered a 128GB card for an Anbernic 35XX-Plus because I am a sucker for both the branding and marketing. That being said, this Micro SD Card was just as easy easy to work with as any other SanDisk card. The card fits into the Anbernic and stores all my retro games on it, the Anbernic sees it and I haven't seen any issues accessing the game files. So, this card works great for me! But this is my only usecase so I'm happy and I would likely buy another for this usecase. I am not using the card to store files from my computer(s), nor am I connecting it to a big console or TV, nor am I using it in a phone.

Not really that impressive
By Michael Grubb on Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2024
I got this SD card so that I could install and run games directly off of it, freeing up space on my hard drive. I paid extra for the higher advertised read/write speeds. Two tests confirmed that the card was getting no where close to advertised speeds. Actual benchmark running Cyberpunk directly off the card were very similar to running the game from my SDD, except that you can see in the pic that the minimum FPS was 3, which means it had some stuttering. Average FPS was close to my computer's benchmark off the hard drive. Looks like I'll be able to use it as intended, but it's disappointing that the read/write speeds I've seen were not at all close to the advertised number.
