Extremely dependable

Not a lot of bells and whistles on this monitor, and as far as I'm concerned, that's fine. I just want the thing to work, and this monitor works fast, reliably, every time. Set-up is a cinch. Not once in two years have I had to examine its buttons and connections to try to figure out why it wasn't coming online. You plug it in, and it works. Every. Time. It's got a truer color display than the laptop I connect it to half the time, very good resolution. And it's lightweight, very slim and easy to pack when you're working on the road.

Bought Sept 23, 2023. Less than a year later the HDMI port connection quit working. I had to jiggle the cable and/or unplug and re-plug it in until it finally just didn't work at all. I had even tried a new cable to no avail. It wasn't moved around. It sat on my desk on a raised secure tray in a static position. Moved it to use the usb c connection with my laptop. Minimal movement. When i shut down the laptop I carefully laid this monitor flat on top of the laptop's closed lid. Within 6 months I now have vertical streaks down the center of the monitor. I somehow forgot to purchase the extended warranty so I'm now searching for a new one. Otherwise the display was fine prior to this streaking and the HDMI port going bad.
